How do I start?

*Classes start on time.  Please arrive 10 minutes prior to start time.
*Don’t eat three hours prior to coming (a light snack is O.K.).
*Wear light comfortable clothing  (a change of clothes for after class is suggested)
*Bring water, also available for purchase.
*Bring a large towel and a SMILE!

What if I’m not flexible?

It’s important to understand that yoga is not about flexibility. This misconception keeps many people from coming to a yoga class.  Yoga is about stretching your spine and body in all directions.  From the very first class, you will learn the concept of “trying the right way” enabling you to receive benefits of each pose according to your own ability and expression of the posture.

Is this really a workout and can I lose weight?

Yes!  Hot yoga is a challenging workout for every fitness level.  Muscles are toned and strengthened, calories are burned through aerobic and anaerobic respiration.  All of the bodies systems are brought into balance helping to decrease urges that may divert you from a healthy nutrious diet
